MUSICAL JOURNEY

​

• Started learning classical Tabla at age of seven from Guru Sri Umesh Dhara under Ustad Sabir Khan’s Lineage of Farukabadh Gharana and later at an advanced stage learned from  Guru Sri Kamal  Sengupta, a senior disciple of  Pandit Sampta Prasadji of Benaras Gharana.

• 2006, performed at ICCR, Bangalore, a program organized by the International student association and Bangaladesh Student forum on “Bhasa Dibash”.

​

• 2006, performed instrumental solo at Garden city college, Bangalore at “International Student Night”.

​

• 2008, performed instrumental Hindusthani classical fusion at ICCR, Bangalore as a guest artist for induction sessions for international students.

​

• 2008, invited to perform classical instrumental fusion at the Rotary Club of Bangalore for the international night. 

​

• 2009,  performed instrumental classical fusion for “SAMUSHKRITI 2009” hosted by East Point Group of Institutions.

​

• 2009, invited to present a Tabla and Mridangam jugalbandhi at Indian Academy, Bangalore.

​

• 2009, presented classical instrumental fusion at M.P. Birla  Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans, Bangalore.

​

• 2009, accompanied the classical violin recital concert at EPCHE, Bangalore.

​

• 2010, performed with Bollywood song instrumental fusion at CMR Law School, Bangalore.

​

• 2010, invited for the second time to Perform at “SAMUSHKRITI 2010” classical fusion instrumental, Bangalore hosted by EPCHE.

​

• 2011, founded Baulana Folk Band and perform as a key rhythm player and administrator for the "BAULANA" and performed at more than 100 stages.

​

• 2014,  given direction and played for Baulana Folk Band’s first album “COSMIC BAUL”.

​

• 2015, given music direction and concept direction for  “Amrito Megher Bari” by Baulana Folk Band Telecasted by Srijan TV, Kolkata.

​

• 2014, performed and directed “Baul Robi” – Rabindrasangeet in the light of Baul Philosophy at Sristi club, Kolkata.

​

• 2015 & 2016,  given music direction for two international Folk album “URBAN BAUL” by Sri Nazim Sha from London and “ NAVARATNA” by Sri Arif Dewan from Bangladesh.

​

• 2016 March, represented Baulana Folk Band at a conference on the impact of “Social Entrepreneurship” by  Barclay Bank at Mumbai at St’ Regies and presented Indian National Anthem in Original Baul format.

​

• At present accompany with Rabindra sangeet and folk vocals of good repute and also has recently designed a music therapy and stress counseling know as the " Cosmic Call Meditation".

​

• 2020 March, performed at Channel One TV as accompaniest for Rabindrasangeet by Smt. Sangeeta Datta and recitation​ by Smt. Diparnita Ganguly.

​

• 2020 September,, performed tabla as accompaniest for Rabindrasangeet by Smt. Sangeeta Datta at Gettabitan Live from Pianissimo studio, Kolkata.
